From the President's Desk

Hello fellow Rotarians,
So this is it, my last week as President and what a year it has been!

I want to say a massive thank you to the whole club for the great support and help I have received over the last 12 Months. It really was a lot of fun, mixed in with some hard work which is often the best combination. Leading Papakura Rotary and working alongside you has been an honour and I am grateful I was given the opportunity. As a Club we have done ourselves proud and I believe we have had a substantial impact on our wider community.
Changeover registration is now closed for this Saturday. Remember this is a formal evening and a chance to flash it up a bit and based on last year will be good fun!
Tracey and I cannot be there for Lily’s speech on Thursday which is very sad as she has just been a fantastic exchange student. Please get behind her and come along to see her off. She did a great job at farewell of thanking her host families and the club. Not a dry eye in the house. You will be missed Lily!
See you all on Saturday night,
Hamper Help

It is your last chance to bring something to add to the Hamper this week before we draw the raffle next week.  Malcolm is the 'Raffle guy' and will gratefully accept your donation.

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for helping out with the Carnival on Friday night.  It made a huge difference to have you all there and the entire school community, but especially the PTA, is so grateful to you all.  We hope you enjoyed your evening!
We are happy to report that the Carnival made just over $30,000 profit, which is our best yet by about $4000!!, so we are all thrilled and grateful.
Thank you so much again,
