From the President's Desk

Hello fellow Rotarians and other readers,
This weekend has seen Tracey and I work on numbers and roles for the Motorcycle Show for Saturday and Sunday. Warren and Barry have also been busy with this for setout and bike check so most of the kinks should hopefully be sorted.
I have emailed most of these to the people involved so check your inbox.
We have Cassidy coming on Thursday to give us a brief rundown on where she is heading next year, which should leave plenty of time for the final adjustments on the show.
We also dropped Lilly off at the Airport for her South Island trip and to say they were excited was an understatement!! I for one will be looking forward to the updates.
Quote for the week (Sorry Robin I forgot last week),
“When I was young I used to admire intelligent people, as I grow older I admire kind people.”
Till next week,
Papakura Rotary Changeover

We celebrated another successful Rotary year last night at La Valla in Tuakau with great food and better company.  The feeling was clear from the moment you came through the door – we knew it had been a great year and we were proud of the work our Club had done.  There was no doubt that Bruce had done a fantastic job of bringing us together as a team.  We had many guests among us who commented on the ‘Culture’ of our Club and the atmosphere of the evening.
