With their unique vocal arrangements and pure sound they were instantly appealing to audiences around the world, named as the Best New Group by Britain's Top of the Pops, and becoming the highest selling recording artists of 1965 outranking both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Their timeless songs included "Georgy Girl", "I'll Never Find Another You", "A World of Our Own", "The Carnival is Over" and "I am Australian."

Tiickets are $65 pp with a cash bar. Tickets will be invoiced to your account or club.

Parking in in the main public carpark as there are limited disabled parks outside the venue.

Tracey-Lee Dalton recently attended The International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA) 2025 in Ireland, a trip made possible with funding from Rotary Papakura. She works at CLM Community Sport - Counties Manukau, where she is helping to organize their upcoming Hauora Inclusion Day, an event designed to provide children with diverse needs with a day of sport and physical activity.

Hamish Meads, a Social Science and Classical Studies teacher from ACG Strathallan, will be presenting with five of his students. They will be discussing their experience with MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly).

Come and join us for an evening about Menshedz in the area. We have Brent Russel the Region 1 Representative.

The evening is open to sheddies from surrounding Rotary Clubs who also have an interest in Menshedz. As usual partners are welcome. 

Nico is a Director, Fiji & Pacific Partnerships at CureKids (an original Rotary Project) and he will be talking to us about new breakthroughs that are occurring around Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease. The topic is particularly relevant as the Rotary Club is based in South Auckland.

It's time to celebrate the end of a fantastic year with our annual Rotary Club of Papakura Christmas Function!

Donna needs to confirm final numbers soon, and we need a minimum of 30 attendees, so please read the details below and RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than November 16th.

• Cost & Menu: A delicious Christmas Lunch is set at $65 per person. (Note: Christmas decorations will be on the tables!)

• Drinks: A cash bar will be available for all beverage purchases.

• Entertainment: We will also be holding a raffle with great prizes, so be sure to bring some extra cash!
