Leo's Blog

Leo's family made the trip from Argentina for the July School holidays and it was just wonderful to meet them all.  They certainly made the most of their time, road-tripping it ' Kiwi Style' in a Campervan
throughout the North Island enjoying some long overdue family time.

We enjoyed their company at our weekly meeting, where Fabian shared his gratitude to the Club for the hospitality shown to their son, and he expressed their appreciation of our beautiful country, despite the
rain! Leo's mum, Amalia, was so shocked to see 'greens' on his plate during the dinner before the meeting, that she had to take photo evidence!

I will leave the rest to Leo...

What an unforgettable trip! I had an amazing time with my family, laughing, crying, and  enjoying. When they said they wanted to come, I immediately thought about where I wanted to show them in the North Island. Every place we went, I really enjoyed.

I told my host families they were going to come and they were so excited to met them. We had a dinner all together that we really enjoyed the evening.

We hired a campervan and we went to many places, like Coromandel, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Rotorua, Taupo, Ohakune and Waitomo.

We spent time in Pukekohe, Papakura and Takanini as well. How could I  forget Auckland city? We had three days there doing gift shopping, going to Sky Tower, the Port and other beautiful places Auckland has.
