On the Road to Recovery: Martin Baucutt

Martin Baucutt is now out of the hospital and on the road to recovery after facing some difficult health challenges. A fantastic conversationalist, he'd love a visit or a call to break up the monotony of reading or watching television. Since his wife, Lynda, is in Wellington this week for the World of Wearable Art show, he might be a little lonely.

It's a good idea to call him before you pop over. You can reach him at 09 2987554.

Get Well Soon, Bill Kuegler

Bill Kuegler from the Drury Club recently spent a couple of weeks in Middlemore Hospital after breaking his hip in a fall from his electric bike. Bill, a great conversationalist and a pleasure to visit, was a huge supporter of our new Community Patrol car.

If you know Bill, a call or visit would surely brighten his day. You can reach him at home on 09 298 8867 or on his cell at 027 492 2113. He and his wife, Raewyn, live at 51 Harry Dreadon Road in Ponga.

"Standing Hay" Wanted

Bill has a nephew who is looking to buy "standing hay." This refers to surplus grass that is long enough to be cut for hay but isn't needed by the farmer. A contractor will come in and do the entire process, paying the farmer a set amount per bale.

If you know anyone who might be interested in this service, please contact Bill.
