MUNA at Rosmini College

Dates: 22nd & 23rd May

Location: Rosmini College, Takapuna

For those with a passion for Youth Development, this is a "must-visit." The Model United Nations Assembly is a brilliant showcase of our future leaders in action. It is well worth the trip across the bridge to see these students tackle global issues.

Hauora Day: Inclusion in Action

Dates: 10th & 11th June

Time: 8:50 am – 1:30 pm

Location: Bruce Pulman Park

This is a truly unique immersion day where mainstream and handicapped students learn alongside one another.

  • The Role: We need 4 or 5 volunteers to assist with exit door security to keep everyone safe.

The Experience: It’s high-energy, incredibly interesting, and rewarding to witness the barriers between these groups disappear.

RYLA Fellowship Evening

Date: 22nd July

Location: Franklin Club (Hosted by Pukekohe Rotary)

Pukekohe Rotary is hosting a special evening featuring our Southern RYLA Awardees.

  • The Catch: I am limited to bringing only four other members.

  • Why Go: It’s a great chance to enjoy fellowship with the Pukekohe Club and learn about this prestigious District Youth Programme. It’s "first in, first served," so let me know ASAP!

"The Try Games"

Date: Friday, 14th August

Location: Bruce Pulman Park

We’re heading back to Pulman Park for an event solely for disabled youth. Like the Hauora Day, we will be working alongside Maori Wardens and Community Patrollers on exit door duty.

  • The Vibe: This event covers all levels of physical challenge. Last year was a highlight for many—it is deeply rewarding to support these lovely young people as they give everything a go. We need 4 or 5 volunteers for this shift.
