The Rotary Club of Papakura was proud to contribute to the success of the Karaka School Ag Day 2025, an annual event that celebrates the school's vital rural heritage and serves as a crucial fundraiser for the community.
This year's Ag Day was a massive success, raising over $45,000 for the school. This impressive total was made possible thanks to the hard work of the Ag Day Committee, PTA, staff, students, and the generous support of local sponsors like the Rotary Club of Papakura.
The funds raised will go directly towards essential school improvements that are not covered by regular funding, including new outdoor shelters, a refreshed school sign, and other much-needed upgrades. These enhancements will benefit every student and staff member for years to come, greatly improving the school environment.
Karaka School's Ag Day Committee, led by Chair Sarah Sutherland, extended their deep gratitude to the club, recognizing the genuine commitment Rotarians demonstrate to the next generation.
Rotary Club of Papakura is delighted to have played a part in this successful day and looks forward to continuing our partnership with the Karaka School community, ensuring a brighter future for our local students.
